I first became interested in the industry when my Grandfather would take our family on trips to destination resorts & spas like The Greenbrier, Nemacolin, The Salamander and The Homestead. Getting treated to Spa & Salon services at a young age opened me up to a world of self-care that incorporated mind & body… I was instantly hooked and wanted to be a part of the industry. While I was never interested in providing services myself, I started as a receptionist, working in several different Spa’s & Salons in Maryland. I worked my way up, eventually managing a location for one of the industry’s most prestigious Spas & Salons. After their closure, I found my way to Darrell Barrett Salon, where I enjoy working with one of the best teams I’ve ever been a part of. I love working with people who love what they do and do what they love. I’m inspired and motivated by ever-changing industry trends and staying competitive with other local Salons. I genuinely enjoy connecting with guests and being helpful wherever I can. My favorite part of the job is seeing the joy that radiates from guests after a fresh cut, color, or treatment. There’s something special about witnessing that transformation, even in a behind-the-scenes role. With a professional background in marketing and administration, I bring an organized, guest-focused approach to the business side of the salon.
