I’ve enjoyed working in Spas & Salons for close to 20 years. I first became interested in the industry when my Grandfather would take our family on trips to destination resorts & spas like The Greenbrier, Nemacolin, The Salamander and The Homestead. Getting treated to Spa & Salon services at a young age opened me up to a world of self-care that incorporated mind & body… I was instantly hooked and wanted to be a part of the industry. While I was never interested in providing services myself, I started as a receptionist, working in several different Spa’s & Salons in Maryland. I worked my way up, eventually managing a location for one of the industry’s most prestigious Spas & Salons. After their closure, I found my way to Darrell Barrett Salon, where I enjoy working with one of the best teams I’ve ever been a part of. I love working with people who love what they do and do what they love. I’m inspired and motivated by ever-changing industry trends and staying competitive with other local Salons. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my Husband, my children and my cat, Simon. I love doing anything outdoors- especially camping, fossil-hunting, spelunking and hiking. As for where I see myself down the road… you could find me touring North America with my family on a converted bus, or working at one of the resorts that initiated my love for the industry. I go where the wind takes me.
