credit card Policy
All Guests are required to have a credit card on file to reserve future appointments. Privacy and security are of utmost importance to us; therefore, all credit card information is stored securely and encrypted, adhering to the highest industry standards. Please note that a 3.5% convenience fee will apply to all electronic payments.
Cancellation Policy
At Darrell Barrett Salon, we value your time and strive to provide the best possible service to all our Guests. We understand that life can be unpredictable, and circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To ensure fairness to both our Guests and our Team Members, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:
Appointment Cancellation:
We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to accommodate other Guests who may be on our waiting list or looking to book an appointment.
To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact the Salon directly by phone or text. Alternatively, appointments scheduled to begin more than 24 hours in advance can be canceled or rescheduled online by visiting our Online Booking portal or the Darrell Barrett Salon App. We do not accept cancellations or rescheduling requests via email or social media.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows:
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will be considered a late cancellation.
In the case of a late cancellation, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total service cost.
Special Circumstances:
In the event of an emergency or sudden illness preventing you from attending your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. We will evaluate such cases on an individual basis and may waive any cancellation or no-show fees.
LAte arrivals
In case you anticipate being late, please call the Salon at your soonest opportunity to advise us of your ETA. This allows us to evaluate the situation and determine the best course of action to minimize disruption to our schedule and other Guests. We’ll make every effort to accommodate the adjusted time when possible; however, late arrivals may result in services needing to be modified or shortened. You may experience an interruption of service as your Stylist accommodates their originally scheduled Guests during that time.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late and have not notified us in advance, we may need to reschedule your appointment to a later time, depending on our availability. This ensures that our subsequent appointments can start on time and receive the attention they deserve. Please note that late arrivals may result in a charge up to the full amount of the originally scheduled service(s).
additional fees
We consider the average Guest’s hair to be 14” or less in length, and recommend that color or highlights be maintained every 6 to 8 weeks. Hair that is longer/more dense or that has significant regrowth may incur additional charges if additional time and/or products are required.
Redo Policy
Every effort is made to ensure your happiness with all services performed. If for any reason you are not happy with your services, we request that you let salon management know within 7 days of the original service. No refunds are issued for services received. All corrections are handled by Darrell Barrett Salon, and subject to approval by management. If corrections are requested later than 7 days from the original services, additional payment may be required.
Retail Returns
If you are unhappy with any products you purchase from Darrell Barrett Salon, you may return unused product within 14 days from the original purchase for a full refund in the form of original payment. Original receipt or purchase history of the product must be available. Opened/partially used products may be exchanged only, within 14 days from the original purchase.
cell usage phone policy
In order to maintain a peaceful and pleasant environment and out of respect for other Guests, please refrain from using your cell phone on speaker mode inside the Salon. If you need to use your cell phone while in the salon, please keep it on silent or vibrate and use headphones when enjoying media that contains sound.
